In this position, the professional functions as a strategic analytics partner across multiple departments, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Credit. The incumbent handles large information sets within modern cloud environments to construct dashboards, formulate analytical models, and discover critical trends. Responsibilities
- Build and automate analytical procedures via Python or R, maintaining source code through GitHub
- Design and support Tableau reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics across multiple departments
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to refine Databricks data workflows supporting analytics and reporting functions
- Perform ad hoc evaluations to address strategic business inquiries and deliver clear recommendations to management
- Track data quality and spot anomalies or metric issues proactively
- Establish and record analytical procedures to optimize scalability and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Seven or more years of professional background in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related sector
- Advanced SQL proficiencies for querying cloud data platforms like Snowflake
- Demonstrated expertise with Tableau or comparable visualization software
- Working familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Experience utilizing Spark, Databricks, or similar distributed computing architectures
- Background in collaborative development and version control using Git and GitHub
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to varied audiences in a fast-moving atmosphere
Qualifications
- Background within FinTech, consumer lending, personal loan sectors, or credit risk modeling
- Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence and AI tools to streamline analytics and automation
- Experience using dbt or contemporary analytics engineering methodologies
- Exposure to predictive modeling or machine learning concepts
- Understanding of financial regulations such as FCRA and fair lending
