Job Description
CodePath is a prominent nonprofit computer science educator in the United States, known for training tens of thousands of college students and partnering with leading technology firms. Through a partnership with Anthropic, CodePath operates Claude Corps, a nationwide fellowship placing AI-trained fellows into nonprofit organizations across the country. The Senior Manager of AI Practice will lead a team of coaches and take full operational ownership of delivery outcomes for a portfolio of fellows. This hands-on position suits an experienced leader who excels at scaling delivery operations, coaching staff, and ensuring curriculum quality within a rapid, tech-focused environment. Reporting to the Senior Director of AI Programs, this remote, full-time W2 employee will guide mentors, monitor cohort progress, and translate field observations into actionable curriculum updates.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, coach, and manage a team of approximately ten mentors at full scale
- Run team operating cadences including weekly synchronization meetings and individual check-ins
- Own instructional delivery outcomes and milestone reviews for a portfolio of roughly 200 fellows
- Facilitate agenda-based instructional time or delegate sessions to pod mentors
- Design and maintain delivery systems and quality frameworks that scale effectively
- Partner with strategic Claude Corps stakeholders to gather structured field feedback
- Ensure the Commons platform is utilized according to its intended design and submit curriculum change requests
Requirements
- Possess 3 to 5 years of technical program management, engineering management, or related program management experience leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate a track record of raising team performance as a people manager
- Display experience owning delivery or operations outcomes at volume
- Show the ability to replace manual processes with scalable delivery systems
- Have hands-on experience shipping work using AI-assisted development tools
- Exhibit strong written communication skills for remote, asynchronous environments
- Commit to remote, synchronous obligations across US time zones including evening cohort sessions
Qualifications
- Experience managing coaches, instructors, or managers within bootcamps, fellowships, or residencies
- Background in scaling delivery teams rapidly without compromising quality
- Familiarity with platform or LMS-delivered learning models and analyzing delivery data for risk identification
