This full-time Senior Manager, Procurement role at InMobi is based in Bengaluru and sits within Finance. The manager leads procurement for InMobi Group, handling routine purchasing with limited supervision in a start-up style environment.
The manager sets procurement strategy in line with business and financial targets and oversees the full buying cycle, from purchase requests and purchase orders through contracts and renewals. Understanding what business teams need is central to the job. Vendor work involves negotiating and managing supplier relationships to improve cost, quality and service, consolidating suppliers, and driving savings in each category. The manager also owns procurement policies and controls, and prepares capital and operating expense budgets alongside Finance.
Governance is part of the role. The manager works alongside Finance, Legal and third-party risk groups to keep purchasing compliant and aligned. Performance is tracked through cost, delivery and service indicators, and procurement steps are automated where it makes sense. Findings are condensed into concise updates for senior stakeholders.

- Own procurement policies, processes and controls, and automate where practical
- Prepare and manage capital and operating expense budgets with Finance
- Align Finance, Legal and third-party risk groups on controls and compliance
- Lead, mentor and develop a procurement team
- Report procurement insights to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Eight-plus years of purchasing work, three of them managing people
- Techno-commercial, contract and vendor management experience with a record of cost optimization
- Sourcing history across MarTech, SaaS, corporate insurance, global recruiting firms and professional services
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Practical use of ERP and e-sourcing platforms, for example SAP Ariba, MSD365, Oracle, NetSuite or ServiceNow
- Analytical skills and financial analysis for cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications
- MBA or postgraduate diploma with a supply chain, logistics or operations focus
