Meesho is recruiting a Senior Manager to run production for motion and video work in Bengaluru. The Creative Intelligence Unit makes creative for the growth organization, which handles the user path from raising awareness of the app, to encouraging installs and regular use, to bringing lapsed users back. The unit's output spans brand and sale campaigns, paid media across Meta and Google platforms plus the Play Store, push and WhatsApp messaging, and the app's homepage and category pages.
The manager sets the video and motion direction for marketing channels and inside-app experiences, focusing on audiences in smaller Indian markets, meaning Tier 2, 3 and 4 towns. Responsibilities cover the entire production chain: storyboards, editing, animation, sound, regional versions and final handover.
The role expects generative AI tools to be used at every stage, from ideation and content creation to visual polishing and scaling output. The manager also develops a motion-first design approach for formats on Meta, Google, YouTube and Reels, writes execution playbooks and quality standards, and runs tests to improve storytelling, asset structure, format length and regional targeting.
The manager hires, mentors and leads motion designers and editors, shares accountability for key performance indicators with colleagues in marketing, product and growth, and tracks trends in shoots, motion design, platform behavior and regional content culture.
Responsibilities
- Set the motion and video direction for marketing channels and in-app surfaces
- Run the whole production chain, from storyboard and edit through animation, sound, regional versions and delivery
- Use generative AI tools for ideas, asset creation, visual refinement and scaling output
- Build culturally grounded visual stories for India's next wave of users
- Develop a motion-first design language across Meta, Google, YouTube and Reels formats
- Write execution playbooks and quality benchmarks for every motion and video format
- Lead experiments and content tests, using data to refine storytelling, format length and regional targeting
- Hire, coach and lead motion designers and editors
- Share responsibility for key performance indicators with marketing, product and growth colleagues
- Keep pace with shifts in shoot techniques, platform behavior and regional content habits
