Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site National Accounts post in London, placed in the UKI division of Deliveroo's Commercial organisation. The main purpose is managing day-to-day relationships with the company's largest restaurant partners, using analytics to help them increase revenue and run their operations more smoothly.
Accounts of this size often raise issues the company has never handled before, so the position influences how Deliveroo partners with major food groups. The manager serves as lead adviser for each account in the portfolio, leads weekly operational check-ins and higher-level performance discussions, and gives recommendations on product selection, price points and service standards. Hands-on onsite training and problem-solving sessions for priority clients also fall within the remit.
Beyond individual accounts, the role partners with regional Commercial Managers to find growth opportunities in particular UK regions. It also involves working with restaurant marketing teams to plan campaigns that deliver lasting benefit to both the partner and the platform, and bringing in Marketing, Operations and Product colleagues when that strengthens a relationship.
Strong candidates have worked in account management or strategic partnerships, preferably at fast-growing technology or two-sided platform businesses. They are comfortable interpreting large volumes of data, presenting to executives, and solving operational problems quickly in a changing setting. Cross-team collaboration on intricate projects is valued. The company indicates its recruitment normally consists of three to four steps.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead adviser for a set of major restaurant accounts
- Run weekly operational reviews and periodic performance evaluations
- Analyse partner targets and translate complex data into clear guidance on improvement
- Advise on product selection, pricing and service levels to lift sales and quality measures
- Lead on-site training and troubleshooting for priority partners
- Coordinate with regional Commercial Managers and partner marketing staff on growth and campaigns
Requirements
- Background in account management or strategic partnerships
- Ability to work with large datasets and extract practical insights
- Clear, confident presentations to senior decision-makers
- Quick, pragmatic problem-solving under shifting conditions
- A collaborative style across functions on multi-step initiatives
