Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Senior Okta Engineer (IAM) to manage its Okta environment on a remote, full-time basis. Charger Logistics Inc. is an asset-based carrier operating across North America with more than twenty years of industry experience. This hands-on engineering position requires the professional to independently build and operate the identity platform, administering SSO, multi-factor authentication, governance, and privileged access for the workforce. The role involves working alongside Microsoft Entra ID while also leading the integration of AI agents, bots, and service accounts into the unified identity platform. The successful candidate will configure application integrations, automate identity lifecycles, and establish strict standards for workload identities.
Responsibilities
- Administer Okta end-to-end including SSO, MFA, sign-on policies, Universal Directory, SCIM provisioning, Okta Identity Governance, and Okta Privileged Access
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot application integrations using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0
- Automate identity lifecycles utilizing Okta Workflows, Okta APIs, and Python or PowerShell
- Maintain integration between Okta and Entra ID in a hybrid setup and connect identity to Google Cloud IAM
- Deploy Okta AI agent capabilities such as Agent SSO, Cross App Access, and agent lifecycle governance
- Define standards for service accounts and AI agents including least-privilege access and short-lived credentials
- Implement vaulting and rotation mechanisms for machine credentials
- Draft developer-facing documentation for requesting and utilizing identities
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in identity and access management
- At least three years of dedicated, hands-on Okta administration experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID within a hybrid environment
- Comprehension of SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols
- Practical background in SCIM provisioning, identity governance, and privileged access
- Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting against identity APIs
Qualifications
- Exposure to AI agent identity technologies such as Okta for AI Agents, Microsoft Entra Agent ID, SPIFFE/SPIRE, or MCP/agent authorization patterns
- Possession of an Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, or Consultant credential
- Familiarity with Okta Workflows or Terraform for Okta
- Experience managing service accounts, API keys, secrets, or workload identity
- Familiarity with Google Cloud IAM or workload identity federation
- Exposure to zero-trust access tools including Zscaler, Cloudflare, or Tailscale
- Background working in transportation, logistics, or another continuous operations environment
