Ripple Effect is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to independently manage cost and price proposals across commercial, non-profit, and federal sectors. This full-time position operates on a fully remote basis. Founded in 2003, Ripple Effect is a woman-owned enterprise numbering around 200 staff members who deliver research, communication, and consulting expertise to various clients.

This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in government contracting regulations and complex financial modeling. The incumbent will steer the creation of competitive pricing strategies, evaluate vendor bids, and build pricing frameworks that leverage modern analytical methods and artificial intelligence tools.

Daily duties involve collaborating with finance personnel, project managers, and executive leadership to align bids with business goals. The selected candidate will draft cost volumes, basis of estimate documentation, and pricing narratives while maintaining compliance with internal policies and federal rules. Additionally, the role contributes to updating internal pricing processes and assisting with contract execution analytics when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of competitive financial and cost proposals for federal, non-profit, and commercial opportunities.
  • Examine solicitation instructions, risk factors, and contract structures to formulate pricing strategies.
  • Build and update intricate pricing models and financial analyses to evaluate profitability and labor estimates.
  • Draft cost volumes, basis of estimate paperwork, pricing narratives, and supporting proposal schedules.
  • Assess vendor and subcontractor submissions to verify compliance and run cost comparisons.
  • Conduct thorough accuracy reviews of pricing models using cross-footing and reasonableness tests.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal pricing procedures by incorporating data-driven and AI-assisted tools.
  • Analyze financial performance against original bids to offer insight for active contract execution.

Requirements

  • Six years of relevant professional experience
  • Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel skills
  • In-depth knowledge of government contracting regulations including FAR, DFARS, and CAS
  • Background in leading pricing activities across various contract frameworks such as FFP, T&M, Cost-Reimbursement, and IDIQs
  • Experience creating pricing approaches and cost submissions for federal vehicles including GSA MAS and GWACs
  • Ability to manage several concurrent proposal projects and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or a related subject
  • Familiarity with designing and optimizing pricing methodologies and standards
  • Intermediate competency in utilizing automation instruments and generative AI for pricing analytics
  • Background in handling contracts management tasks like NDAs, TAs, and negotiations
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, specifically Jamis Prime
  • Experience with program financial control activities including EVMS, EACs, forecasting, and variance analysis
