Job Description

Moniepoint Group, recognized as Africa's fastest-growing fintech by the Financial Times, serves over 10 million accounts and handles billions in monthly transactions. The company is currently expanding its footprint globally and is seeking a Senior Principal, Talent Marketing to establish its talent brand and candidate pipelines from the ground up in new regions.

In this remote role, the successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy to translate the global Employer Value Proposition into localized strategies tailored for European markets, specifically focusing on building engineering hubs in places like Poland and Spain. This position requires deep familiarity with software engineering culture, technical ecosystems, and developer communities.

The chosen individual will collaborate closely with engineering leadership and talent acquisition teams to solve complex hiring challenges, design targeted campaigns, manage talent marketing budgets, and execute both physical and virtual community events. The role suits a strategic and entrepreneurial professional with extensive expertise in technical recruitment marketing, developer advocacy, and zero-to-one market entry within high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and direct the talent go-to-market strategy for new engineering hubs in Europe, focusing primarily on Poland and Spain
  • Establish the foundational narrative for early European engineering teams around technical scale and system complexity
  • Organize and lead physical and virtual presences at developer meetups, conferences, hackathons, and university partnerships
  • Build end-to-end follow-up systems and talent nurture funnels to convert event participants into active candidate pipelines
  • Partner with technical recruitment and engineering directors to create multi-channel campaigns for hard-to-fill tech roles
  • Equip recruitment teams with outbound pitch decks, technical one-pagers, and messaging sequences to improve outreach conversion
  • Evaluate initiatives against hiring-centric metrics such as pipeline contribution, cost-per-hire, and time-to-fill
  • Manage dedicated talent marketing budgets and allocate spend across community, outbound, and paid digital channels

Requirements

  • More than 8 years of leadership experience in talent marketing, technical recruitment marketing, or developer relations
  • Demonstrated background in hiring software engineering and product disciplines
  • Proven experience building talent brand presence and hiring pipelines across European technology ecosystems
  • Track record of successfully entering new geographies where the employer brand was previously non-existent
  • Exposure to hyper-growth fintech, high-frequency payments infrastructure, or distributed systems environments

Qualifications

  • Mastery in event-driven pipeline activation for developer audiences
  • Deep domain fluency in software engineering culture, tech stacks, and developer communication channels
  • Experience running and optimizing paid digital recruitment advertising campaigns across social and developer platforms
