Job Description
Workleap, a Montreal-based technology company founded in 2006, is hiring a Senior Product Designer for ShareGate, its Microsoft 365 migration and governance product. The company says more than 15,000 organizations rely on its products. The role is full-time and remote, with access to the Montreal office.
The designer would own a whole product area, from framing the problem alongside product and engineering teammates through launch and the learning that follows. The focus is on AI-first workflows in which the product does the heavy lifting while customers stay in control. The posting also asks for complicated IT situations to be made clear enough to act on with confidence, for bold ideas to be tested early with real customers, and for the results to change the plan when needed.
Candidates should bring more than six years of experience designing complex business software, including shipped products they were accountable for, from the initial question through the finishing details. The posting values systems thinking, sound judgment on decisions that are hard to undo, weekly contact with customers, and the ability to justify design choices to design, engineering, and leadership colleagues. Fluency with AI in one's own workflow and a willingness to refine work in the live product are also expected. Prior work with expert audiences such as IT, security, or data teams is a bonus.
The base salary is listed at $125,000 to $160,000, based on a Canada-wide scale. The company notes that final offers may vary by region. The hiring process begins with a recruiter call, followed by a video interview with the hiring manager, a take-home case study, and a discussion with future colleagues.
