Cosuno seeks a Senior Product Engineer to join the engineering team and build features utilized by thousands of construction professionals. Operating in a remote setting or from the Berlin office, the person in this role will guide features from initial concept through production deployment across the backend, API, and frontend. Cosuno is a technology startup focused on modernizing the construction sector with a digital platform for procurement and tenders, leveraging artificial intelligence to process millions of price points.
This position involves designing data models and services to manage complex domain challenges, making independent interface decisions using the design system, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and Data departments. The environment utilizes trunk-based development with daily releases, AWS deployments managed via Terraform, and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage features from problem definition to production release across backend, API, and frontend layers
- Design data models, APIs, and services capable of handling complex industry data reliably
- Create user interfaces using the design system with minimal supervision
- Partner with Product and Design teams on major strategic initiatives
- Collaborate across departments to translate business requirements into working software
- Architect and implement modular packages and services within the monorepo
Requirements
- Professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining complex web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node
- Demonstrated ability to take features from loosely defined problems to end users
- Experience designing backend data models, APIs, and services with a focus on performance and reliability
- English communication proficiency
Qualifications
- Experience deploying AI-powered features such as LLMs and agents into a product
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools including AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
