Job Description
GitLab is an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps that helps organizations boost developer productivity, enhance operational efficiency, and lower security and compliance risks. The company serves over 50 million registered users and more than half of the Fortune 100.
GitLab is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the Lead-to-Opportunity domain within its Salesforce and go-to-market technology ecosystem. Positioned between marketing operations, sales processes, and technology, this role involves managing the roadmap for lead capture, scoring, routing, and conversion. As one of the initial product managers on a team transitioning from a reactive business systems analyst model to a proactive product organization, the person in this position will act as both an individual contributor and a mentor helping analysts develop into product managers.
The role suits professionals with extensive background in Salesforce product management, revenue operations, or business systems analysis who want to help evolve a growing internal product team. Daily work involves defining multi-quarter product roadmaps, coordinating with engineering and architecture teams, partnering with stakeholders across marketing and sales, and guiding full-lifecycle initiative delivery.

- Translate business strategy from marketing, sales development, and revenue operations into prioritized system capabilities and metrics
- Partner with engineering managers and business systems analysts to run quarterly planning ceremonies and align capacity
- Lead initiatives end-to-end from discovery and requirements gathering to solution design review, user acceptance testing, launch, and post-launch measurement
- Act as a product craft mentor and senior thought partner to upskill business systems analysts in product thinking and roadmap communication
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineering managers on integration design for Salesforce and marketing automation platforms
Requirements
- Have at least 7 years of experience in Salesforce product management, business systems analysis, or marketing and revenue operations technology roles
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of lead-to-opportunity processes including lead capture, scoring, routing, and conversion
- Possess hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot, and data enrichment or intent providers
- Show proven experience owning and communicating multi-quarter internal product roadmaps to senior business and technology stakeholders
- Have sufficient technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on API design, data model decisions, and integration trade-offs

- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance for lead data
- Prior people-management experience
