Meesho is recruiting a Senior Product Manager for its Data and Analytics Platform in Bengaluru. The company is an e-commerce business that serves shoppers in Tier 2, 3 and 4 towns across India, many of whom have only recently begun buying online. Product work there is centered on understanding customer behavior and tackling problems with high stakes in a rapidly moving start-up setting with considerable independence.
This is a cross-functional leadership role. The manager collaborates with people in analytics and data engineering as well as business and product management, covering the full path from identifying a problem through to delivery and adoption.
Duties include studying the market and technology landscape through user interviews, competitor reviews and both qualitative and quantitative methods, splitting big problems into smaller pieces, and choosing what to tackle first. The manager sets a forward-looking vision and roadmap, tests solution ideas with prototypes and MVPs, writes product requirements, plans go-to-market activity, and tracks metrics. The role also leads a small unit of analysts and associate PMs.

Requirements
- Seven or more years overall, including at least four years in product management at a technology-led company that works with data, analytics or engineering
- Strong first-principles problem solving
- Solid grasp of the technology and data landscape
- Familiarity with PRDs, backlog management and roadmap creation
