DaCodes is seeking a Senior Product Manager to guide digital software projects from initial problem exploration through solution definition and delivery. This remote position combines product management, client consulting, business discovery, and software delivery, while utilizing artificial intelligence as a practical tool for analysis, prototyping, and validation. The person in this role will report to the Head of Project Managers and collaborate directly with engineers, designers, and clients ranging from startups to mid-sized and large enterprises. Unlike a traditional project manager who simply manages boards or agile ceremonies, this multifaceted role requires direct client engagement to uncover operational needs, translate ambiguous requests into actionable specifications, negotiate scope, and leverage AI to advance documentation, testing, and design.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions ranging from quick alignment meetings to deep dives into business operations, workflows, systems, and user requirements.
- Produce business and technical documentation such as workflows, system diagrams, and scope outlines to guide estimation and construction.
- Translate ambiguous needs into buildable specifications by detailing rules, user roles, states, exceptions, integrations, and initial minimum viable product scope.
- Define expected behavior alongside UX/UI teams prior to engineering work and write verifiable user stories with prioritized backlogs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, managing scope changes, outlining impacts on timelines and costs, and communicating risks proactively.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery from kickoff to handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, and QA.
- Utilize artificial intelligence across the entire workflow to analyze information, build prototypes, generate test cases, and automate tasks.
- Test built software platforms thoroughly to detect issues and explain functionality to clients independently.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or digital consulting working on software projects with external clients.
- Demonstrated history of conducting discovery processes and defining product scope independently.
- Experience breaking down business requirements into precise technical specifications for engineering teams.
- Proven background in negotiating project scope, timelines, or budgets with clients.
- Practical, hands-on use of artificial intelligence tools beyond simple text generation, such as for agents, prototyping, automation, or solution validation.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and design principles.
- B2 to C1 English proficiency for conducting client sessions without assistance.
Qualifications
- Background working in agencies, nearshore organizations, or consulting firms managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- Technical familiarity with databases, APIs, and software integrations.
- Certifications in cloud platforms or artificial intelligence, such as those from Anthropic or AWS.
