Job Description

Maze is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the recruitment and panel experience for its user research platform. The platform supports product teams, designers, and researchers by providing user insights at the speed of development. Operating as a Series B company with a global remote workforce, Maze seeks candidates with a preference for living in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, or Portugal.

In this role, the Senior Product Manager will take charge of the roadmap for participant management and recruitment across multiple research modalities, including unmoderated, moderated, and AI-moderated experiences. Working closely with engineering, design, panel operations, sales, and customer success, this position sits at the crossroads of software, business operations, and external vendor ecosystems. The person filling this position will focus on boosting participant quality, refining fulfillment workflows, evaluating external panel partners, and scaling systems to accommodate complex enterprise customer requirements.

This position suits an autonomous product professional who enjoys tackling multi-faceted challenges spanning software, operations, and external partnerships. The successful candidate will navigate incomplete information, make deliberate tradeoffs, and rely on structured communication and data fluency to drive outcomes. The role offers a salary of USD 113,000 to 133,000 per year alongside comprehensive international benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the strategic roadmap for participant management and recruitment across the platform
  • Enhance participant quality by creating better filtering mechanisms, feedback loops, and quality signals
  • Simplify audience recruitment for customers across various study types and complex enterprise use cases
  • Analyze data and customer insights to monitor panel performance and identify gaps in supply, fulfillment, and quality
  • Collaborate with Panel Operations to refine fulfillment workflows, tools, and handoffs
  • Evaluate and onboard new panel partners while improving integrations for better efficiency and coverage
  • Build smarter routing systems to match studies with appropriate participant supply
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Research Partners to evaluate recruitment feasibility and customer needs
  • Define and measure success metrics focused on recruitment experience, fulfillment, and participant quality

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager owning product areas from discovery through execution
  • Strong autonomy with the ability to structure problems and drive them forward independently
  • Clear and structured communication skills to articulate problems, recommendations, and decisions
  • Comfort working on products that combine software, operational workflows, and external partners
  • Strong product judgment for making thoughtful tradeoffs with imperfect information
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design teams through discovery, delivery, and iteration
  • Systems-thinking mindset focused on scalable solutions rather than temporary workarounds

Qualifications

  • Strong data fluency for prioritizing opportunities and measuring product outcomes
  • Experience building products with significant operational components
  • Background in marketplace or supply-and-demand products
  • Prior experience in operations, business development, or similar roles bridging product and business functions
  • Experience managing stakeholders across multiple teams or functions
