Fluxon is searching for a Senior Program Manager to handle large-scale technical initiatives and client portfolios. Founded by former startup founders and Googlers, the company delivers full-cycle software development services, collaborating with both fast-growing startups and major technology brands.
This fully remote position across North America places the practitioner at the intersection of business strategy and engineering execution. The professional will act as the main communication channel for clients while coordinating multidisciplinary groups spanning design, engineering, product, and project management.
Suitable candidates possess extensive experience leading technical programs, navigating ambiguous situations, and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority. The job involves translating complicated engineering concepts into clear business outcomes, managing dependencies, and guiding cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage large technical initiatives across multiple products, development teams, and organizations
- Oversee timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and blockers within the program portfolio
- Act as the main contact point and executive liaison for clients to communicate progress and manage expectations
- Collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate technical trade-offs and guide decision-making
- Translate intricate technical ideas into business implications for cross-functional groups
- Foster continuous improvement, operational excellence, and predictable delivery standards
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of technical program management experience within engineering or technical settings
- Demonstrate a history of leading cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple development teams and senior stakeholders
- Possess understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud infrastructure, APIs, system architecture, and artificial intelligence
- Show the ability to engage senior leaders and navigate complex, fast-paced environments
- Display analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Background in managing technical programs within a professional services, client-facing, or consulting context
