Modea, a technology consultancy focused on improving consumer healthcare experiences, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to direct enterprise web modernization projects. The person in this role will act as a central bridge between technical development teams and client executives, overseeing project budgets, timelines, staffing, and multi-vendor coordination. Modea partners with major healthcare providers to establish digital roadmaps and build web and mobile solutions, such as EHR-integrated applications and patient-centric websites.
This position requires a professional capable of managing agile product delivery, recognizing and addressing risks ahead of time, and helping client organizations transition to new web platforms. Candidates will collaborate closely with various experts including solutions architects, digital strategists, product designers, quality analysts, and data analysts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate technical and project risks prior to issues affecting budgets or schedules
- Partner with client leadership to manage scope, trade-offs, and business priorities during platform transitions
- Direct large-scale website rebuilds, migrations, content transfers, and design system rollouts
- Drive agile software development processes and manage multi-team roadmaps using Jira and Jira Advanced Plans
- Monitor project spending and hours to maintain financial targets and profitability
- Lead, align, and motivate cross-functional delivery teams comprising architects, designers, and analysts
- Deliver concise updates and presentations to client executives and senior leaders
- Coach internal team members, refine delivery frameworks, and share best practices across the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of progressive project or product management experience leading complex technology engagements in a client-facing or agency setting
- Demonstrated history of managing enterprise web redesigns, platform modernizations, or digital transformation initiatives
- Working knowledge of Jira and Jira Advanced Plans for roadmapping, dependency mapping, and release tracking
- Expertise in agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe within modern software engineering environments
- Familiarity with modern web architectures, enterprise digital experience platforms, API integrations, and cloud hosting
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or PMI-ACP
- Experience configuring Jira and Confluence setups
- Background working with digital experience platforms, specifically Sitecore AI, Headless Sitecore, and modern frontend or API frameworks
- Experience managing projects utilizing modular design systems and atomic design workflows
- Background delivering digital solutions within healthcare or other heavily regulated industries
