Emerging Travel Group is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join its AI/LLM Team and HQ Automation division. The company operates globally to provide travel services and experiences. In this remote position, the engineer will build automation tools that increase the operational efficiency of customer service personnel.
The role centers on creating services and building models on top of a CRM and ERP platform, while also expanding the capabilities of an on-premises Camunda orchestration system. The technology stack relies on Python with Django, Aiohttp, and RQ, alongside PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and React.js on the frontend.

Responsibilities
- Perform backend development on the CRM and ERP product primarily utilizing Python and Django
- Support infrastructure and manage tasks related to the Camunda platform

- Design service architecture, execute technical choices, break down tasks, and estimate timelines
- Review peer code and consult with technical support, quality assurance, and system analysis teams
- Lead development projects within the assigned stream and coordinate resources to meet targets
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering background with senior-level experience
- Minimum of five years working with Python using Django or FastAPI
- Robust familiarity with PostgreSQL including proficiency in writing raw SQL queries
- Background in API design and system integrations
- Practical tenure handling high-load architectures and massive datasets
- Working knowledge of GitFlow, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Spoken and written English proficiency at a B1 intermediate level or higher

- Prior exposure to Camunda and pyzeebe
- Direct experience building or interacting with AI and LLM models along with comprehension of their mechanics
