It is hiring a remote Senior QA Automation engineer to keep automated test suites running for server-side services, API endpoints and complete business processes.
The engineer grows automated test coverage with Python and Pytest, and creates shared helpers, fixtures, data handling and reporting. The role also builds and refines full-flow regression packs that keep the product dependable, and upkeeps frontend tests written in Cypress.

Requirements
- Seven-plus years as a senior tester on intricate distributed platforms or ETL and data flows.
- Solid track record building, rolling out and upkeeping automated suites.
- Practical Python plus Pytest work for server and API automation.
- Know-how testing REST interfaces: checking inputs, error paths, linked systems and data accuracy.
- Grasp of full-stack testing spanning UI, server, API and data tiers.
- Familiar with QA approaches and planning test strategy.
- Awareness of how automated tests run inside CI/CD pipelines.
- Use of AI coding assistants like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Sharp analysis and troubleshooting ability.
- Self-directed, yet able to coordinate across functions.
- Familiar with Cypress for UI and end-to-end checks.
Qualifications
- Built QA agents or AI-led test flows before.
- Used Python helpers like Requests, HTTPX or Pydantic.
- Contract checks and schema validation for APIs.
- Database verification using SQL.
- Testing microservice-based and distributed stacks.
- Comfortable with mocks and service virtualization tools.
- Load-testing tools like Locust, JMeter or k6.
- Docker-based test environments and AWS cloud services.
- Wiring tests into pipelines on GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI and similar.
- Agile or Scrum team experience.
