Caylent is currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their fully remote team in Canada, the United States, and Latin America. Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for Amazon Connect implementations, including routing logic, IVR workflows, and conversational AI agents
- Validate platform migrations from legacy systems through parallel testing and data validation
- Build and maintain manual and automated testing suites using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
- Test serverless and event-driven backend components such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Step Functions
- Perform cutover validation and verify monitoring dashboards across voice, chat, and queue systems prior to go-live
- Partner with engineering teams to shift testing left and manage user acceptance testing sessions with customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and test engineering
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience testing contact center, CCaaS, or IVR and voice platforms
- Practical experience with Amazon Connect or comparable CCaaS platforms
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
- Familiarity with serverless AWS architectures including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Strong defect tracking and triage abilities with experience running user acceptance testing
Qualifications
- Experience testing contact center migrations from legacy systems like Avaya, Genesys, or NICE
- Familiarity with AI observability, trace validation, or accessibility engineering
- Active AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or relevant specialty designations
- Background in consulting or client delivery environments
