This position serves as the senior support tier for the Secondary Logistics team, acting as the primary escalation point for complex or stalled vehicle releases. The role involves managing high-priority requests, negotiating rates with impound lots and tow operators, maintaining precise tracking records in Zendesk, and providing real-time assistance to frontline staff. This role suits individuals who can remain calm and decisive under pressure while handling high volumes of calls, chats, and ticketing tasks.

Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support and handle escalated calls, chats, and tasks from the frontline team
- Serve as an escalation point for customers, program managers, tow providers, lots, and adjusters regarding secondary jobs
- Negotiate tow and release rates within approved financial limits
- Manage active-job emails within the Zendesk ticketing system
- Maintain accurate records of release events and vehicle movements for client visibility
- Prioritize actionable jobs to minimize backlog, vehicle downtime, and storage expenses
- Lead high-priority requests and support special projects and pilot programs
- Report recurring trends and issues to leadership to support coaching and standard operating procedure updates
Requirements
- Own every escalation through to completion
- Possess working knowledge of platforms such as Zendesk, Slack, Five9, and Verint
- Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace applications including Sheets, Docs, and Gmail
- Communicate clearly and calmly across writing, chat, and voice calls
- Adapt quickly to unexpected events and frequent changes
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Agent, or in a similar towing, vehicle release, dispatch, or contact center role
- Solid understanding of secondary logistics processes such as release task boards, lot calls, rate approvals, and release events
- Demonstrated history of resolving complex or stalled jobs independently
- Experience managing escalations in a customer service setting
- Proven ability to negotiate rates confidently with service providers within established limits
- Demonstrated accuracy in job documentation
