Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve security posture across cloud environments, applications, corporate systems, and workflows
• Define and implement scalable security standards that support SOC 2 readiness through auditable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security priorities with company goals and risk reduction
• Translate compliance requirements into sustainable technical controls and evidence collection procedures
• Build and maintain internal security tools, automation, and services for vulnerability management and CI/CD pipelines
• Design security controls within CI/CD pipelines including secure build patterns, scanning, and secret management
• Support application security through threat modeling, secure design reviews, and code review guidance
• Enhance cloud infrastructure security through hardening, configuration reviews, and access audits
• Strengthen security observability by improving logging, alerting, and incident response processes

Requirements

• Possess 5 to 7 plus years of experience working as a Security Engineer or Software Engineer with a security focus
• Demonstrate the ability to build and operate production-quality software, automation, and internal tooling
• Understand application, infrastructure, and cloud security, alongside secure CI/CD practices
• Bring hands-on experience in vulnerability management, threat modeling, and remediation workflows
• Apply security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 in production environments
• Demonstrate familiarity with cloud security platforms like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or GCP Security Command Center
• Have experience with SIEM and SOAR tools, logging platforms, and detection workflows
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of C#, modern backend systems, cloud-native architecture, and SaaS business tooling
