This position operates within a continuous 24/7 global security monitoring framework, which includes scheduled nighttime and weekend rotations. The professional in this role will guide security investigations, mentor team members, and build automated threat detection processes to safeguard global brands.
As part of the Information Security group, the specialist helps defend digital infrastructure and user data against emerging cyber risks. Key duties involve managing incident escalation pathways, creating operational documentation, formulating autonomous AI runbooks, and utilizing metrics to refine the organizational security posture. The candidate will also coordinate with international security squads across the United States, United Kingdom, and the European Union.

Responsibilities
- Participate in a 24/7 global security operations schedule, including regular night and weekend shifts
- Examine and triage security alerts concerning malware, phishing, network attacks, and data privacy within established service level agreements
- Provide technical mentorship and constructive feedback to SOC specialists
- Author and maintain operational documentation, workflows, and response playbooks
- Construct and administer autonomous AI runbooks to scale and automate alert triage procedures
- Manage incident escalation flows and translate lessons learned into strategic security enhancements
- Design and review threat-detection use-cases for cloud platforms
- Incorporate intelligence and incident observations into organizational risk frameworks
- Assist with broader security investigations alongside Threat Intelligence and Incident Response teams
- Track cybersecurity trends and threat landscape research
- Use performance metrics and KPIs to identify optimization opportunities
- Contribute to employee cybersecurity awareness initiatives focusing on reporting and best practices
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of working background inside a Security Operations Centre
- Demonstrated experience building threat detection capabilities inside fast-moving, cloud-centric enterprises
- Practical handling of AWS security configurations, SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, EDR or XDR solutions, Splunk, and SQL queries
- Experience planning and managing defensive security solutions and technical projects
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, GDPR, NIS2, and PCI-DSS
- Capacity to maintain composure and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders during high-impact incidents
Qualifications
- Comprehension of IAM cloud security principles
- Prior exposure to DevOps workflows and continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Hands-on practice with container platforms and orchestration services
- Knowledge of cloud security data encryption standards
