Business Computers Management Consulting Group, LLC (BCMC) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Test Engineer to support an Agile ServiceNow program for Department of Defense clients. This remote position operates during core work hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding government holidays. This role suits professionals with extensive testing experience within Agile environments who can collaborate with solution architects, developers, and product owners. The position involves designing test plans, executing procedures, addressing bugs, and maintaining regression test suites within ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Partner with solution architects to grasp release capabilities and implementation scope
- Build test procedures, cases, and data aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria
- Run tests from the testing environment and coordinate with developers and architects to fix defects
- Ensure timely resolution of bugs discovered during testing and Government Acceptance Testing
- Engage in all Agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, backlog grooming, and demonstrations
- Produce and update testing documentation such as plans, cases, and scripts utilizing ServiceNow test management
- Demonstrate requirements and technical configurations to the product owner
- Assist with production issues and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams for resolution
- Build and sustain a regression test suite
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Seven or more years of testing experience inside an Agile development setting
- Possession of or the ability to acquire a Security+ or equivalent certification
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- Background in ServiceNow and REST API integration encompassing requirements gathering, test management, and test development
- Familiarity with ServiceNow test script procedure creation, execution, and test management
- Exposure to ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management and/or Workplace Service Delivery modules
