Tebra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the advancement of its next-generation Practice Management platform. Operating remotely, this position focuses on modernizing front-end micro front-end architecture and crafting sophisticated user interfaces.
Tebra builds all-in-one EHR and patient platform technology specifically for independent healthcare practices, combining billing, electronic health records, telehealth, marketing, and automation tools. The company serves over 42,000 private practices to help clinicians reduce administrative burdens and streamline operations.
This role suits experienced front-end specialists ready to lead technical design, establish foundational reusable components, and mentor team members while shaping the product direction.
Responsibilities
- Upgrade and advance the organization's micro front-end platform architecture
- Design and advocate for reusable front-end tools, components, and frameworks
- Build sophisticated user interfaces using React that perform well across multiple devices
- Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams on product visuals, direction, and user experience
- Coach junior developers and foster code excellence and continuous learning
- Research front-end technology trends and champion best practices across the team
- Maintain strict code quality standards and help evolve the technology stack
Requirements
- Seven or more years of professional front-end development background
- Hands-on expertise with React, modern JavaScript libraries, and development tooling
- Familiarity with React hooks
- Solid understanding of micro front-end architecture principles
- Ability to consume RESTful APIs
- Experience implementing responsive and adaptive layouts while handling cross-browser compatibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Prior experience with Storybook
- Prior experience with MaterialUI
- Background in shared component design
- Familiarity translating wireframes and style guides into functioning applications
