Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and operate production artificial intelligence agents that process Jira tickets, generate pull requests, address review comments, and resolve continuous integration failures
• Establish data retrieval and context layers utilizing semantic search, embeddings, knowledge graphs, and Snowflake integrations
• Expand the internal Model Context Protocol server to provide reusable skills, tools, and workflows for various product divisions
• Develop offline testing suites and live metrics to evaluate prompt modifications and release updates
• Optimize operational spend and execution speed on AWS Bedrock through model routing, structured outputs, and caching
• Secure AI deployments against prompt injection, excessive permissions, and memory poisoning risks
• Instrument services with detailed tracing and logging, and participate in on-call rotations
• Write technical documentation, review team code, and provide mentorship on large language model development

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of professional software engineering experience with end-to-end production service ownership
• At least one year of hands-on experience deploying LLM agents or features to production environments
• Demonstrated background implementing retrieval architectures such as vector search, embeddings, and ranking
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript, or Ruby, with willingness to work across a polyglot codebase
• Familiarity with continuous integration, observability tooling, and a major cloud platform like AWS

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and scaling model performance
• Prior work with Model Context Protocol servers or comparable agent frameworks
• Experience implementing knowledge graphs or semantic layers including dbt metrics and Snowflake views
• Background building developer workflow automations for GitHub Actions, Slack, or Jira
• Knowledge of LLM security practices involving sandboxing, red-teaming, and permission models
• Experience with large-scale entity classification or matching using machine learning and reasoning
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or Node.js
• Background working in e-commerce, marketplaces, or regulated industries
