Job Description
Wrapbook serves as an artificial intelligence platform for production finance, offering systems that manage payroll, spending, and accounting for commercials, television, and feature films. Backed by major investors and trusted by prominent entertainment companies, the organization employs over 350 people striving to transform financial workflows. The business is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Applied AI team.
In this role, you will join the Agentic Systems group to create artificial intelligence agents that automate internal processes across the company. You will collaborate directly with departments such as finance, sales, marketing, operations, and support to identify high-leverage tasks, then design, deploy, and refine agent solutions. This position involves building production-grade workflows with LangGraph, scaling operations on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and establishing security and observability standards for automated tools.
This opportunity is suited for a back-end developer with substantial experience deploying artificial intelligence frameworks and large language models in production environments. You will own agent projects from conception to release, measuring impact and driving adoption through documentation and enablement.
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade artificial intelligence agents using LangGraph to automate multi-step workflows for internal departments
- Deploy, run, and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore while monitoring performance, identity, memory, and operational costs
- Partner with internal teams to identify high-impact workflows, gather requirements, and translate them into reliable agent-driven solutions
- Integrate agents with internal systems, application programming interfaces, and third-party tools to enable real actions
- Build evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks to measure agent quality, catch failures, and maintain human oversight
- Establish reusable patterns, shared tools, and best practices for the Agentic Systems team
- Own agents across their entire lifecycle from prototype to production and iterate based on usage metrics and feedback
- Drive internal adoption through documentation, training, and enablement
Requirements
- Six or more years of back-end development experience utilizing Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or Java
- Track record of delivering secure, scalable, available, and performant systems
- Hands-on experience building and shipping large language model-powered agents or workflows with models such as Claude, GPT, Llama, or Mistral
- Production experience with at least one agent or large language model framework like LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen
- Understanding of artificial intelligence architectures including retrieval-augmented generation, reranking, and multi-agent orchestration
- Security-first mindset addressing data access, permissions, and failure modes
- Product sense and communication skills for working directly with non-technical teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and an ownership mentality to guide loosely defined problems independently from idea to production
Qualifications
- Experience running Amazon Web Services workloads in production, including designing for, deploying on, and utilizing Amazon services such as Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
