Job Description
Snapsheet Inc is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for its Customer Vendor Management group. The listing is for a full-time, direct-hire job open to people working in the USA, and it is marked as remote. Snapsheet develops cloud claims software for insurers, managing general agents, and related companies. According to the posting, more than 170 property and casualty insurers, general agencies, claims administrators, and logistics firms use the platform. The group handles how claims interact with customers, vendors, and outside partners from start to finish.
The engineer's work includes building self-service tools that let customers file a claim digitally, including web reporting and photo uploads. Other tasks involve vendor connections and workflows that tie carriers to body shops, appraisers, salvage firms, and other third parties. The role also contributes to estimating, appraisal, and total-loss features and helps keep partner integrations dependable as volume grows. The team follows Agile methods, and engineers juggle several initiatives within each sprint.
The ideal person has at least five years building full-stack web applications, with the strongest background on the server side. Designing APIs and relational database structures with fast queries is central, as is an understanding of how back-end code performs under heavy load. Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and AI-assisted development is an advantage but not required. The advertised base pay falls between $135,000 and $165,000, and the company notes the final figure depends on experience, skills, and location. Coverage described includes several medical plans, dental and vision options, employer-paid disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) with a 4% employer match. Staff also get flexible time off, 7.5 company holidays, and an assistance program. The company states it cannot sponsor work visas for this role and is not currently taking applications from residents of New York or California.
