Phantom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join its fully remote engineering team. Phantom operates globally, providing a platform where tens of millions of individuals access open financial markets, prediction markets, stablecoins, perpetuals, tokenized assets, and cultural crypto assets. Backed by $150M in Series C funding from investors including a16z, Sequoia Capital, and Paradigm, the organization employs approximately 180 people and collaborates with industry partners like Visa, Stripe, Kalshi, and Hyperliquid.
In this remote, full-time position, the engineer will take ownership of web-based platforms, specifically the Phantom website and browser extension. The role involves spearheading projects that integrate additional blockchain networks, developing new infrastructure, and releasing complementary products. Furthermore, the professional will interact directly with developers and consumers to gather user feedback and contribute to team culture by helping elevate hiring standards.
This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced software developer with a strong background in modern web technologies and a demonstrated enthusiasm for open, community-oriented platforms. The position offers an annual base salary range of USD 180,000 to 220,000, complemented by equity, comprehensive insurance coverage, flexible scheduling, and unlimited paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain web platforms, including the website and extension

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time software engineering experience
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and React-Query
- Experience with Solana web3.js or ethers.js
- Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
- English language proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience working on a blockchain-based project
