As a Senior Software Engineer - Go on the RPC Platform team, the professional will design, build, and scale critical infrastructure for high-performance blockchain remote procedure call services utilized by global developers and enterprises. This position functions at the intersection of distributed systems, Web3 infrastructure, and developer experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong bias toward execution, deep technical ownership, and the ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
The role involves architecting distributed systems, optimizing backend services, and owning end-to-end delivery from initial design through production. Responsibilities also include improving service uptime, minimizing latency, debugging complex production issues, and collaborating closely with product, infrastructure, and developer experience groups.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput and low-latency backend services using Go
- Architect distributed systems and own end-to-end delivery from design to production
- Enhance uptime and decrease latency across services
- Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams
- Debug and resolve complex production issues across multiple systems
- Establish engineering standards and industry best practices
Requirements
- Possess 6 to 10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high-scale production environments
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Go with the ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks
- Bring deep experience in designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures
- Have a proven record of delivering scalable and reliable systems that impact performance, availability, and developer experience
- Show familiarity with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, high-throughput API platforms, RPC services, node infrastructure, or data streaming pipelines
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills for debugging complex cross-system production issues
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and execute in fast-paced environments
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
