The company seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Go and Rust to join the Blockchain Infrastructure team. This individual contributor position focuses on designing, building, and scaling distributed backend systems that manage blockchain data. The role involves working extensively with both Go services and security-critical Rust components while collaborating closely with Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams. This position reports directly to engineering leadership without direct reports, offering a clear growth trajectory toward Staff or Principal levels.

Responsibilities
- Design and optimize low-latency backend APIs and data-processing tools using Go and Rust
- Oversee the architecture, concurrency models, resource efficiency, and monitoring of production services
- Build distributed systems that handle blockchain data ingestion and validation with high availability
- Manage technical projects completely from initial requirements to deployment and incident response
- Conduct system profiling and benchmarking to resolve performance bottlenecks under heavy load
- Identify security vulnerabilities and establish safeguards for transactions and system data
- Investigate complex failures across networks, databases, and blockchain nodes to implement permanent fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to align protocol requirements with maintainable software
- Lead code reviews, write documentation, and mentor fellow engineering personnel
Requirements
- Over eight years of professional software engineering background with experience in high-scale distributed or backend environments
- Advanced professional capability in both Go and Rust for shipping production software
- Thorough understanding of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and networking
- Track record of delivering scalable systems that improve performance or availability
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, high-throughput APIs, or data-streaming pipelines
