In this position, the engineer will build full-stack product experiences aimed at advancing member growth and helping millions achieve financial progress. The role is suited for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments, rapid prototyping, and using data-driven decision-making to optimize activation, conversion, and engagement.
The engineer will operate across the entire technology stack, writing code using React and TypeScript on the front end alongside Rails and Go on the back end. Responsibilities include deploying end-to-end consumer features, conducting A/B tests, and improving system performance, scalability, and reliability. This position involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, data scientists, mobile developers, and marketing specialists to execute experimentation strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and launch growth-oriented consumer features from end to end using React, TypeScript, and server-side services
- Partner cross-functionally with product, mobile, design, data science, and marketing teams to address member needs
- Rapidly prototype and release A/B tests aimed at enhancing user activation, engagement, and conversion rates
- Evaluate feature metrics after launch to guide upcoming growth plans and iterative improvements
- Prioritize tasks using a metrics-driven approach focused on business and user impact
- Optimize client-side page load, conversion funnels, service throughput, and latency for better reliability and performance
- Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and promote technical best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of professional experience building scalable software in production settings
