As a Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android), you will focus on the mobile application that serves as the primary interface for members to configure products and access sleep data. In this position, you will collaborate daily with backend, firmware, and machine learning engineers, as well as R&D, Growth, Hardware departments, and executive leadership.
This role suits an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment characterized by high expectations and deep dedication. It requires an individual capable of maintaining stability while building scalable, enterprise-grade software and delivering smooth animations and pixel-accurate mobile interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship native Android application features
- Perform code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
- Optimize mobile application performance to improve user experience
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product departments, and executives
Requirements
- At least six years of professional experience releasing features for native Android applications
- Demonstrated fluency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI
- Experience developing scalable, testable, enterprise-grade mobile software
- Capability to operate efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while prioritizing stability
Qualifications
- Proficiency in constructing custom UI components utilizing Jetpack Compose
- Background in building software integrated with physical hardware, particularly within health or medical industries
- Prior experience working on health-related applications and peripherals
