This remote position brings a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) onto the Checkout team to improve booking pathways and post-booking journeys.
This opportunity fits developers who want to manage features from concept to production while collaborating with architects and business stakeholders. The role centers on building scalable distributed systems and maintaining high performance across marketplace infrastructure. Engineering professionals joining this group will work directly with a modern technology stack including PHP, SQL databases, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Responsibilities
- Manage features from refinement through to production deployment
- Partner with architects to design and construct reliable applications

Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience
- Extensive expertise in PHP and Symfony
- Background in developing scalable and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Proficiency in API design and third-party system integration
- Practical experience utilizing and building LLM-driven tools
- Ability to work collaboratively alongside business stakeholders
- Professional working proficiency in English
