RapidSOS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its remote team and help develop life-saving technology utilized by first responders and public safety agencies globally. In this capacity, you will spearhead technical sales conversations, construct proofs of concept, and formulate tailored solutions for business clients. The role involves partnering closely with Account Executives to shape account strategy, deliver product demonstrations, and define project scopes. You will write documentation, build integrations that link RapidSOS systems with client environments, and align customer needs with internal engineering and product teams. The position requires up to 25 percent travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical customer engagements throughout the pre-sales process by building and presenting product demonstrations
- Develop pilot and proof-of-concept implementations for clients and prospects
- Design technical approaches and architectures that connect RapidSOS services to customer products and emergency workflows
- Collaborate with Account Executives to formulate account strategies, articulate the value proposition, and establish trusted advisor relationships
- Draft technical documentation, specifications, and statements of work to translate client needs for Product and Engineering teams
- Evaluate project scope, technical feasibility, and risk while resolving challenges alongside internal and external stakeholders
- Employ artificial intelligence tools to prototype, solve problems, and accelerate delivery for clients
- Travel up to 25 percent of the time
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical customer-facing role such as implementation, post-sales, or sales engineering
- Working knowledge of complex API-driven or Software as a Service products
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with a preference for Python
- Experience deploying solutions via cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, or through containerization software such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and executive audiences
- Hands-on background utilizing artificial intelligence tools with an AI-forward working methodology
