Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to drive technical engagement across the customer lifecycle
- Support channel partners with solution positioning, deployment, and ongoing technical assistance
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions
- Provide technical consultations and solution recommendations aligned with customer business objectives
- Collaborate with product management, support, marketing, and solution engineering teams
- Participate in regional reporting and contribute to technical sales initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
- Drive revenue growth through technical expertise and sales acumen
Requirements
- Reside in Ohio
- Commit to up to thirty percent travel
- Possess a strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen
- Demonstrate ability to independently lead technical sales engagements with minimal supervision
- Show proven experience presenting complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences
- Exhibit communication, objection-handling, whiteboarding, and solution-selling skills
- Display organizational and time-management abilities
- Bring experience evaluating customer requirements and developing technical solutions
- Hold a CISSP certification
- Possess experience in pre-sales, technical support, professional services, or solution engineering within a cybersecurity vendor, channel partner, distributor, systems integrator, or enterprise environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with six or more years of related experience, Master's degree with three or more years of related experience, Ph.D. with one or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Azure Associate and/or AWS Associate certification
- SonicWall SNSA and SNSP certifications
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, and GDPR
- Experience with managed security and cloud security environments
