This remote, full-time role is based in the United States. The Senior Solutions and Implementation Manager creates technical designs, specifications and blueprints that fit industry norms and regulatory expectations, then guides delivery from initial concept through testing and launch. The work is client-facing and project-based, and it involves C-level contacts as well as colleagues in go-to-market, product, R&D, operations and data.
Documentation forms a large share of the duties: writing business requirements and solution design documents, producing flowcharts, and maintaining a project knowledge base. The person also reviews existing solutions for quality and speed, and acts as a technical adviser in pre-sales meetings.
The ideal applicant has seven or more years as a solutions architect or comparable professional, with experience designing complex technical systems, and comfort with commercial and contract basics. A fintech background is strongly preferred, and travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Produce complete solution designs, technical specifications and blueprints for regulated environments
- Build scalable, economical technical solutions for new and existing clients
- Lead each implementation as the primary project and client contact, from concept through testing and rollout
- Keep deliveries on schedule and on milestone targets
- Assess feasibility of business, technical, security, reporting and legal requirements
- Convert needs gathered from internal and partner groups into functional specifications
- Write business requirements and solution design documents, plus flowcharts and a knowledge base
- Audit existing solutions for integrity, quality and maintainability, and tune performance
- Advise as a trusted technical expert before and during implementations
Requirements
- Seven or more years as a solutions architect or comparable professional on complex deliveries
- Ability to explain technical concepts to audiences at every technical level
- Working familiarity with APIs and software-as-a-service products
- Competence in PowerPoint, Excel, Figma or Miro, Asana, Salesforce and Azure
- Basic understanding of commercial and contract terms
- Analytical, problem-solving and leadership strengths
- Forward thinking to foresee problems and resolve them
- Willingness to travel when required
Qualifications
- Fintech experience, strongly preferred
- Undergraduate degree or comparable hands-on experience
