Job Description
Cision is recruiting a staff-level full stack engineer, a role whose remit is building and shipping internal platforms that enterprise infrastructure, operations and engineering teams rely on. This senior individual-contributor post suits an engineer who works independently in unclear problem spaces and owns systems from architecture through production operations. The listing is marked remote.
The engineer acts as the team's technical leader, shaping design choices, defining engineering norms and delivering work that spans server-side services, data flows and user-facing front ends. Typical efforts include designing systems that take in, transform, examine and publish infrastructure and operational data at volume, building services and APIs for gathering, enriching and searching data, and creating web interfaces with rich search and filtering for technical audiences.
Other work covers building ETL and data-processing flows for both structured and semi-structured inputs, keeping applications containerized for Kubernetes-based deployment with Docker, reviewing designs and code, cutting technical debt and setting standards for testing, documentation and go-live readiness. The role also works alongside platform, infrastructure, security and product colleagues on long-range direction.
Cision says it reaches out to candidates and makes offers only via its own channels, never through agencies, and describes itself as an equal opportunity employer.
