Netlify seeks a Senior Strategic Finance Manager (Corporate Finance) to direct its corporate finance operations on a remote basis. In this full-time role, the individual will oversee the full corporate finance cycle, handle monthly reporting, manage forecasting and annual planning, and spearhead AI-driven financial tooling. Netlify provides a platform utilized by millions of developers and organizations to build, deploy, and scale modern web applications.
This position is suited for an independent professional who prefers to own a function entirely rather than contribute as part of a larger reporting team, as there are no junior analysts assigned to support the role. The candidate will collaborate closely with senior executives regarding capital, pricing, and headcount decisions while guiding the company's financial metrics and automation standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete corporate finance cycle including monthly reporting packages, driver-based forecasts, and annual planning
- Direct scenario analysis and formulate recommendations for executive leadership prior to major capital, pricing, and headcount choices
- Consolidate annual planning across departments from calendar creation to board-ready outputs
- Define company-level KPIs and metrics while aligning cross-functional teams on reporting dimensions and data hygiene
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform pricing, packaging, and capital allocation
- Establish departmental budget management cadences and performance accountabilities
- Partner with Sales leadership to handle capacity modeling and key performance indicator tracking
- Build and deploy AI workflows and systems to enhance financial operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience
- Background working within a SaaS or usage-based business model
- Proven ability to construct 3-statement financial models from scratch featuring scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Practical working knowledge of US GAAP and foundational accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel for managing large datasets and complex formulas
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
- Direct experience designing AI workflows that can be adopted by other teams
- Track record of presenting clear financial analysis and recommendations to executive staff
