Job Description
Ridgeline is hiring a Senior Technical Consultant for a full-time, remote position. The company builds a front-to-back system of record for investment managers using a single real-time data set and embedded artificial intelligence. This position splits time evenly between delivering client integrations and helping launch a managed integration services offering. As a founding team member of this initiative, the consultant will transition integration code into a centralized source of truth, establish repeatable operating processes, and collaborate with platform engineering to improve build efficiency.
This role suits professionals with a background in software development, consulting, or complex technology who enjoy working directly with external customers and software vendors. Over the first six months, the individual will complete training, shadow experienced colleagues, and lead integration streams. Within a year, the consultant will gain a holistic view of the operational landscape and contribute to reusable integration assets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead integration workstreams for client implementations
- Run discovery sessions to understand and document client integration needs
- Build, deploy, and maintain reusable integrations
- Collaborate with platform engineering to centralize integration code under consistent deployment practices
- Refine implementation methodology and reduce technical debt
- Establish an operating model for managed integration services following go-live
- Communicate directly with customers and third-party vendors to scope, build, and troubleshoot solutions
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional experience delivering technical solutions for internal or external stakeholders within a software, consulting, or complex technology setting
- Background working in a complex technology organization, such as a microservices environment, with knowledge of service deployment
- Practical software development or systems engineering experience that goes beyond configuration, encompassing building, deploying, and maintaining solutions
- Demonstrated experience owning the resolution of a high-impact technical problem in a multi-system or microservices architecture
Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or investment management
- Background championing source control, testing, deployment, and monitoring practices for a team
- Hands-on experience with Workato or alternative Integration-Platform-as-a-Service solutions like Workday Studio, Mulesoft, or Boomi
- Familiarity with agentic operations, including agentic code review, continuous deployment, end-to-end integration tests, observability tools, and LLM gateways
