The organization is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager - Keet to lead the growth and strategy of its flagship peer-to-peer communication application, Keet. Working remotely from anywhere in the world, the person in this role will take full ownership of the product roadmap with the objective of scaling the platform to one billion users.
This position is designed for an experienced product leader who possesses a strong technical background in distributed systems and hands-on experience using artificial intelligence tools to rapidly build prototypes. Candidates should be comfortable setting long-term vision, presenting directly to executive leadership and the board of directors, and managing end-to-end execution across engineering, quality assurance, design, and marketing teams. Responsibilities include defining growth strategies, overseeing real-time voice and video calling features, navigating mobile application store submissions, and managing sprint workflows.
The ideal applicant thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains exceptional communication skills in English, and is prepared to dive deep into architecture concepts and code. The role requires balancing strategy with direct, hands-on involvement, from reviewing pull requests to tracking dependencies and managing release schedules across desktop and mobile distributions.
Responsibilities
- Own and shape the long-term product vision and roadmap for the Keet application to reach one billion users
- Analyze competitor communication platforms to identify peer-to-peer advantages
- Present product strategy, metrics, and ongoing progress to executive leadership and the board
- Define and track growth targets covering user acquisition, activation, retention, and virality
- Learn the Holepunch peer-to-peer stack and translate its technical constraints into product decisions
- Partner with core engineering to address scale challenges such as offline sync, NAT traversal, and multi-device support
- Manage the real-time voice and video calling experience including screen sharing and group capabilities
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to rapidly build working product demos and prototypes
- Run sprint cadences, handle planning and retrospectives, and coordinate cross-functional deliverables
- Manage mobile app store submissions, compliance, and release processes for iOS, Android, and desktop environments
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of product management experience with a senior or lead background owning consumer products end to end
- Track record of establishing product vision and achieving measurable outcomes at scale for tens of millions of users
- Experience leading software engineers, running sprint cadences, and ensuring predictable delivery across teams
- Proficiency in JavaScript and React to read and write production code, review pull requests, and build prototypes
- Familiarity with distributed or local-first systems, offline behavior, and data consistency trade-offs
- Hands-on background shipping and scaling mobile applications on iOS and Android alongside store logistics
- Familiarity with real-time voice and video calling products and their performance trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to use artificial intelligence tools for rapid concept prototyping
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to boards, executives, and investors
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Qualifications
- Product leadership experience at a major messaging application such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, WeChat, LINE, Viber, or KakaoTalk
- Background working with peer-to-peer technologies, decentralized protocols, or distributed systems
- Prior exposure to Holepunch, Pear, or Hypercore
- Experience growing products in emerging markets or across multiple regions and languages
- Background in privacy, security-focused products, or encryption
- Familiarity with Electron, React Native, installer systems, boot performance, or Linux packaging
- Understanding of testing methodologies, test automation, and performance testing
- Engineering background or computer science degree
- Familiarity with Git, modern collaboration tools, and issue trackers
