Job Description
N3XT holds a Wyoming charter as a special purpose depository institution (SPDI). It runs a fully reserved bank that does not lend, serving institutional business clients and acting as a link between conventional capital markets and public blockchain networks. Several investors back the company. It is recruiting a full-time Senior Treasury Manager in its finance department. The position is remote within the US, reports to the Head of Treasury, and carries a listed salary of 155,000 to 175,000.
The manager carries out the bank's daily liquidity, capital and investment decisions and oversees the securities portfolio. Responsibilities include creating daily, weekly and long-range cash forecasts that keep customer deposits funded, designing laddered maturities that keep money accessible while capturing yield, and building quantitative models of deposit behavior and stress scenarios. The manager also controls access to key payment rails, including high-volume domestic wires and SWIFT.
Risk and reporting are central. The manager identifies and mitigates liquidity and interest-rate exposure, places surplus cash in very liquid, low-risk instruments consistent with regulation, and prepares daily, monthly and quarterly reports for the CFO and for the Risk and Audit Committee. The role coordinates with compliance, maintains relationships with banking counterparties, correspondent banks and custodians, and writes due diligence assessments of them. The manager also drafts treasury policies and controls, looks for ways to automate cash and bank reconciliation, and assesses financial technology.
Candidates should have a degree from accounting, finance or a neighboring discipline and have at least six years of progressively responsible work in financial risk, corporate treasury or banking, ideally at a fintech firm. Working inside a regulated institution such as a bank, trust company or broker-dealer is expected. Advanced modeling and forecasting skill and the ability to explain treasury strategy to varied audiences are required. Credentials like the CFA or the Certified Treasury Professional designation are welcome, as are regulatory reporting experience, Python or R, and experience with engineering teams. The company offers competitive pay, benefits and development support in a flexible, remote-first setting.
