Job Description
MicroSourcing seeks a Senior Video Editor to join its remote team for a night shift role. As an offshore managed services provider in the Philippines, MicroSourcing operates with more than 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers and champions an inclusive, diverse workplace.
In this position, the professional will use DaVinci Resolve Studio exclusively to edit, color-grade, sweeten, and finish long-form educational content and short marketing materials. The daily work involves crafting lesson videos, trailers, and social clips, integrating branded motion graphics, collaborating with creators on pacing, preparing multi-aspect ratio deliverables, and managing cloud storage assets. Candidates should be comfortable engaging in daily stand-ups and peer review sessions.
Responsibilities
- Edit, grade, mix, and master lesson videos, trailers, and social snippets using DaVinci Resolve Studio
- Incorporate branded motion graphics such as titles, lower thirds, and call-outs according to academy guidelines
- Collaborate with creators to refine narrative pacing and identify missing coverage or audio problems early
- Prepare output files across multiple aspect ratios and compress them to correct bit-rates for various platforms
- Check finished renders for technical flaws and audio synchronization issues
- Organize folder hierarchies and metadata within cloud storage systems
- Take part in daily stand-ups and peer reviews to support team quality
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional editing experience accompanied by a portfolio or reel
- Expert proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, featuring Fusion compositing and Fairlight audio cleanup
- Demonstrated motion-graphics capability within Resolve or After Effects
- Solid understanding of codecs, color-managed workflows, and LUTs
- Fiber-class internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up
- Calibrated monitor setup
- Fluent written and spoken English proficiency
