Xperteez Technology seeks a Senior Video Editor to work in a remote, hourly contractor capacity. This opportunity is suited for seasoned post-production professionals who want to evaluate and improve AI-generated and human-edited video content. Operating as a subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, Xperteez Technology delivers training data to major artificial intelligence companies and foundation-model labs worldwide, helping to refine the video generation, understanding, and editing capabilities of advanced AI models.
In this position, contractors will review various video outputs to ensure they meet professional production standards, technical accuracy, and visual consistency. Candidates must possess significant video editing experience, demonstrate advanced proficiency in non-linear editing systems, and provide an accessible professional video demo reel or portfolio during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Review edited and AI-generated video content to assess pacing, continuity, transitions, visual consistency, audio quality, and storytelling
- Conduct technical quality assurance to detect frame-rate inconsistencies, dropped frames, codec issues, synchronization errors, and compression artifacts
- Analyze and compare AI-generated video outputs to identify unnatural motion, temporal inconsistencies, and visual defects
- Design expert-level editing scenarios, reference examples, and structured feedback aligned with professional post-production standards
- Assess whether video assets comply with creative briefs, style guides, technical specifications, and project rubrics
- Document video editing errors clearly using professional terminology and explain necessary corrections
- Contribute to quality calibration efforts to establish consistent evaluation benchmarks across workflows
Requirements
- Have at least five years of professional video editing experience in commercial production, television, film, advertising, digital media, or broadcast environments
- Demonstrate C1 to C2 level English proficiency for understanding complex guidelines and writing detailed technical evaluations
- Show advanced proficiency in at least two non-linear editing systems
- Provide a working, accessible professional video demo reel or portfolio showcasing commercial, broadcast, film, television, or advanced digital video projects
- Possess a deep understanding of editing fundamentals such as pacing, continuity, narrative structure, and visual composition
- Maintain knowledge of video technical standards including codecs, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios, and export settings
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with AI-generated video evaluation, video annotation, multimedia QA, or rubric-based evaluation
- Previous experience functioning as a Lead Editor, Post-Production Supervisor, QC Coordinator, or Senior Video Editor
- Familiarity with Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Pro
