NewRocket is hiring a remote, full-time ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer - AI to deliver professional services and build AI-driven applications for enterprise clients. As an AI-first Elite ServiceNow Partner with two decades of experience, the company helps organizations adopt trusted artificial intelligence and scale through the Now Platform. This position suits an experienced developer who can guide clients, design customized solutions, and integrate intelligent capabilities into various ServiceNow modules.
In this role, you will work directly with end-users, IT groups, and key stakeholders to capture system requirements and build advanced workflows. You will handle complete application lifecycles from coding and debugging to testing and documentation. Responsibilities also include setting up web service integrations, configuring impact assessment rules, promoting update sets, and resolving production incidents. NewRocket offers official platform training to help team members earn multiple certifications while working on innovative customer projects.
Responsibilities
- Interface with stakeholders and IT teams to gather system requirements
- Design and deploy AI-driven applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform
- Integrate natural language processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning into ServiceNow modules
- Manage the complete application development lifecycle including coding, debugging, testing, and documentation
- Configure integrations between ServiceNow and external applications using REST and SOAP web services
- Reflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate them with technical experts
- Participate in user acceptance testing for service maps, impact rules, and event management
- Promote update sets and data across applicable ServiceNow environments
- Remediate production incidents related to the assigned scope
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and development across two or more capabilities
- Strong background in ServiceNow AI and automation features such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, and Now Assist
- Practical experience optimizing Now Assist tools like case summarization, conversational workflows, and resolution recommendations
- Experience connecting ServiceNow with other systems using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud integrations
- Familiarity with Web Services Integration including SOAP and REST
- Experience with data extraction technologies like JDBC, ODBC, or ETL integrations
- Proven background in implementing CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, and Scripted REST APIs
- Willingness to continue education and complete platform competency certifications and module accreditations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field
- ITIL Foundation certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
