This engineering position focuses heavily on building customer applications dedicated to dispatching, scheduling, and managing work orders within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will work directly with various stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to gather necessary environment details, build service maps, and refine event rules to guarantee correct configuration management database binding.
Professionals in this role will design application interfaces tailored to distinct user audiences, build integrated logic to connect with internal ServiceNow application programming interfaces utilizing REST, and manage distributed enterprise applications. The person selected will also oversee MID servers, configure identification rules, and handle credential-based and credential-less discovery.

Responsibilities
- Develop customer applications centered on work order management, scheduling, and dispatching
- Partner with stakeholders to determine essential functionality within custom ServiceNow instances
- Optimize ServiceNow event rules to guarantee accurate configuration management database binding
- Communicate with technical subject matter experts to gather environment data for service mapping and event tasks
- Design user interfaces for diverse audiences through custom application models or Service Portals
- Build integrated logic and functional components connecting to internal ServiceNow services and REST APIs
- Install, configure, and integrate software products related to TSM/OMT
- Expand horizontal discovery using custom application patterns and infrastructure patterns
- Configure, manage, and maintain MID servers
- Configure identification rules and migrate patterns between environments for service mapping
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with TSM/OMT in ServiceNow
- Capability to understand, communicate, and deploy TSM/OMT solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise-oriented and distributed application architecture
- Understanding of both credential-based and credential-less discovery
- Ability to prevent duplicate configuration items utilizing CI identifiers
- Proficiency in utilizing command line consoles for service mapping
- Knowledge of discovering multi-tier services including advanced pattern configuration
