Job Description
CentralReach is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Data Products to join its engineering team and support cloud infrastructure and data-platform connectivity. CentralReach provides autism and IDD care software utilized by educators, employers, and therapy providers. In this position, the engineer will manage Linux workloads and AWS accounts, troubleshoot service outages, and maintain repeatable deployment processes using automation and version-controlled configuration. The role involves working closely with application engineering, security, and data engineering teams to ensure environments remain secure and operational.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational problem-solving within an agile environment. The position offers a base salary range of $135,000 to $160,000 per year along with hybrid work schedule options.
Responsibilities
- Manage configuration, deployment, and daily operations across multiple AWS accounts and associated Linux servers.
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS resources including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, AWS PrivateLink, and security groups.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, connectivity problems, and deployment failures to restore service promptly.
- Build and improve automated, version-controlled deployment processes using runbooks and configuration tools.
- Oversee secure Snowflake account connectivity by diagnosing private endpoints, network paths, and access issues.
- Collaborate with security, data engineering, and application engineering teams while participating in daily stand-ups and documenting procedures.
Requirements
- Have three to five years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, production infrastructure operations, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps with AWS environments.
- Demonstrate strong Linux administration capabilities encompassing networking, system services, logs, command-line diagnostics, and permissions.
- Possess practical working knowledge of multi-account AWS operations, security groups, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, and AWS PrivateLink.
- Understand cloud networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, private endpoints, TLS, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Bring experience with scripting and operational automation utilizing tools like Python or Bash.
