Ubiminds is seeking a Software Architect – AI / Agentic Systems to support a client building an AI-first coding platform. Ubiminds partners with United States software product companies by connecting Brazilian professionals with innovative teams through staff augmentation and employer-of-record services. In this position, the professional will shape a system where autonomous agents and human developers work together seamlessly. The initiative involves creating architectures where artificial intelligence agents can independently plan tasks, write code, execute tests, and deploy applications. The role suits a candidate experienced in system design, developer tools, and artificial intelligence who wants to establish scalable, production-ready platforms.
Responsibilities include architecting distributed cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, integrating large language models such as Claude, and defining tool-use and reasoning loops. The team utilizes .NET alongside alternative tech stacks depending on the project demands. Candidates will work alongside engineering groups to push designs into production environments while focusing on multi-step reasoning and long-context handling.
Responsibilities
- Design and direct the creation of an artificial intelligence-first coding platform
- Build environments enabling real-time collaboration between human engineers and autonomous agents
- Create agentic systems capable of task planning, software generation, testing, and application deployment
- Incorporate large language models, specifically Claude, into production pipelines
- Establish function calling and agent orchestration layers
- Develop strategies for multi-step reasoning loops and long-context management
- Formulate architecture for distributed and scalable artificial intelligence systems on Amazon Web Services
- Determine when to apply .NET or alternative technology ecosystems
- Partner closely with engineering units to transition architectural designs into production
Requirements
- Demonstrated background as a Software Architect or Staff-level engineer
- Demonstrated experience designing or constructing artificial intelligence and agentic systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of large language model integrations like Claude
- Familiarity with function calling, tool-use patterns, agent orchestration, and reasoning loops
- Understanding of prompt engineering and context management
- Practical background using Amazon Web Services and complex cloud-native architectures
- Experience with distributed systems and scalable platform design
- Capacity to navigate multiple tech stacks with a foundation in .NET
- Ability to drive high-impact architectural choices within rapidly changing settings
- Advanced written and verbal communication abilities in English at a C1 level
Qualifications
- Experience developing developer platforms or coding utilities
