In this full-time position, the professional will operate within small squads to establish quality benchmarks, develop automated testing frameworks, and ensure the reliability of digital products relied upon by millions globally. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software engineering or automated testing, bringing hands-on programming abilities in Java and JavaScript or TypeScript. Responsibilities include catching defects early through rigorous sprint involvement, utilizing artificial intelligence tools to optimize testing workflows, and tracking key quality metrics. Responsibilities
- Define the quality benchmarks and testing strategies for mobile applications and internal administrative tools
- Design and construct automated test suites spanning UI, API, mobile, and integration layers within CI/CD pipelines
- Examine requirements, specifications, and pull requests early to identify problems during active sprints
- Collaborate with consumer product teams regarding release planning, certification, and post-launch health monitoring
- Partner with product and design personnel approximately thirty percent of the time to set acceptance criteria
- Supervise and guide offshore quality assurance teams toward automated and advanced testing practices
- Identify, document, and drive defects to resolution while reporting on quality metrics such as test coverage and flakiness
- Apply artificial intelligence-driven tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and analysis
- Contribute to actual feature development across Android, iOS, web, or backend codebases as the position evolves
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience working as a software engineer, SDET, or QA automation engineer
- Demonstrated programming proficiency in Java and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Practical background in constructing test automation frameworks and embedding them into CI/CD pipelines
- Direct experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications
- Demonstrated capability in directing quality assurance initiatives and owning release readiness with distributed or offshore teams
- Familiarity with incorporating artificial intelligence tools into development and testing workflows
