As a Software Engineer specializing in backend development, the professional will construct reliable systems, automate critical workflows, and enhance data accuracy across operational, member, and client processes. The person in this role will design Golang microservices for eligibility, billing, coverage, and client-facing systems, alongside developing self-service tools for operations and finance teams. Responsibilities
- Build and enhance scalable Golang microservices for billing, coverage, eligibility, and client-facing systems
- Automate and streamline operational workflows to minimize manual data handling and boost data availability
- Design and deliver self-service tools enabling operations, finance, and client teams to independently manage configurations
- Guarantee data consistency, accuracy, and traceability for internal decisions and external reporting
- Collaborate with data and AI teams to integrate AI into process automation, anomaly detection, and data validation
- Contribute to client-facing APIs that facilitate data exchange between the company and customers
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience shipping backend code in a high quality production environment
- Demonstrated experience building microservices in production
- Familiarity with event-based and data architectures including API development, messaging queues, and SQL or NoSQL datastores
- Professional experience utilizing Golang
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Strong communication abilities with a history of interacting with both technical and non-technical business stakeholders
- Adherence to company security and privacy procedures to protect patient information governed by HIPAA
Qualifications
- Practical application of AI tools to accelerate development workflows or enhance data processes
