- Serve as a subject matter expert for a designated platform segment, such as core workflows or reporting services.
- Contribute to technical specification reviews, provide effort estimates, and maintain documentation like API contracts, data models, and Confluence runbooks.
- Handle data tasks involving relational databases, graph databases, caching layers, and messaging infrastructure.

- Take part in peer code reviews to ensure alignment with team standards.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional backend, platform, or systems engineering experience in a high-growth setting.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or a comparable enterprise JVM language, alongside Spring Boot experience.
- Experience building, owning, and maintaining production-grade REST APIs.
- Practical background working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, including complex queries and schema migrations.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot distributed backend services using monitoring systems and security tools.
- Practical experience utilizing AI coding assistants as part of a regular workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience or fluency with Go.
- Familiarity with graph databases such as Neo4j, message queues like RabbitMQ, or distributed caching layers like Redis.
- Background in constructing multi-tenant B2B SaaS applications focusing on data isolation, high availability, and scalability.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices patterns, or containerized applications at production scale.
